We are thrilled to be sponsoring one of the aid stations along the 25k route of this year’s Amway River Bank Run in downtown Grand Rapids! We are looking for 40 volunteers to make it happen, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

Here is the important information to know:

Location of our Aid Station: 
Indian Mounds Drive near the 12 mile mark on the 25K course

Driving Directions:  I-196 to M11 exit (WB I-196 exit 70 or EB I-196 exit 70B); turn west on M11, follow to Indian Mounds Drive, turn north on Indian Mounds Drive to aid station near the Kent Trails Bridge –  Parking is limited – all cars must be off the road.  Please do not park within the boundaries of the aid station. Details:  Aid Station #6 is staffed by Holy Spirit Parish, friends and family.

Aid Station volunteers move cases of water, setup tables, fill cups, distribute water, Gatorade and ice to participants and provide encouragement!  Medical and Communication staff are on-site to assist as needed.  Volunteers are also responsible to tear down the tables, gather supplies and clean up the area when finished.  Clean up area includes surrounding area – anywhere the participants may have dropped cups, trash, etc. Volunteers are expected to be able to handle physical tasks listed above (or additional as needed) and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
