In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.
The disciples in our school and religious education programs come together as the young people in our parish to prepare and receive this sacrament during their 8th grade year. Through a series of classes, retreat, and service outside of their regular religion classes, they will explore what this sacrament calls them to be. There is a mandatory parent class each fall to assist families in working to prepare their children to receive this sacrament. The date for the ceremony is set by the diocese so families will be notified on the day that the parish is notified. To access the Confirmation Booklet with important information, dates, and forms for the preparation of the sacrament click here. (Currently under construction)
Adults that have not received this sacrament should contact the Religious Education Office for more information about preparation requirements and reception dates.
